MACKENZIE A. ART™

My name is Mackenzie Atkinson and I am a freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator and Student RGD.
I have a passion for all things design and have since a young age. In high school, I was introduced to the Adobe Suite, which opened up a world of potential for me - digital art. I would play with Adobe Photoshop for fun, teaching myself to draw with a mouse. I would fiddle with the many mechanics of Adobe Illustrator, creating cartoon characters and logos of imaginary companies. That was when I decided to attend college for Graphic Design, and pursue the hobby I fell in love with!

 

During my studies, I was hired to work alongside the Terry Fox Foundation for my local town, as their Marketing Coordinator. That experience led to so many opportunities for me. I created a lawn sign for cancer survivors that was distributed nationwide in Canada. I was hired as a student ambassador to teach students nationwide about Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator skills and strategies. As well as given the opportunity to be an on-call Graphic Designer and Illustrator for Inukshuk Enterprises Inc, creating designs and illustrations for client’s self-publishing needs.
